Understanding Health Promotion Quotes.
Wellness programs have been on the rise the past 20 years for a selection of reasons. When a business or small business is considering starting a wellness program, they’ll first obtain a few wellness quotes. Then the business will partner with the wellness program to determine when the wellness program is a good fit for their employees.
Generally, a company will consider if the wellness program is a good fit for their company based on size, reputation and overall experience. These quotes are not all about the financial aspect, but really what’ll benefit the overall health and wellness of the staff and members.
Ideally, a health promotion program should offer its members the opportunity to prevent and manage long-term health risks. An example of this would be weight reduction management.
Not only is it cost effective to provide employees with exercise equipment or a health club membership to use, but it also provides education and support for losing weight and weight management. Making healthful food options and catering to those with special dietary needs would also be included in health education.
Considering that a high percentage of diseases are preventable when diet and exercise are tied in with the worksite, a majority of diseases in that same worksite may be eliminated.
Wellness quotes should also include the ability of an worker to self-monitor progress. It is a scientific fact that when adults can track their progress on any kind of goal, they’ll be more likely to continue with that goal, even if it is an abstract goal, such as energy level.
Wellness quotes cannot tell an corporation if a wellness program are going to be a good fit for its staff members. That is something for the corporation, staff and potential wellness program coordinator to determine.
The concerns of all parties must be taken into consideration to ensure a good match for life-long wellness.

Participating In Staff Member Wellness Programs.
Ways businesses can boost employee health promotion participation
Employee wellness programs are vital that you workplace benefits. Nonetheless, they do not make any difference when your personnel aren’t participating. Does your organization have an staff member wellness program that seems to be failing due to lack of participation? If so, there are creative ways that you can motivate your workforce to take control of their health, and take part in the wellness program.
Giving health promotion program materials upon sign-up is a great way to show staff members that the company acknowledges and encourages their wellness efforts. Receiving free health promotion program materials, like pedometers and exercise guides, will boost participation for staff members with little time or money.
These health promotion program materials could be quite cheap when bought in bulk. Plus, the company will still be saving money because their staff members are going to be getting fit and there are going to be less sick days taken.
The toughest times when starting a new exercise regimen, are at six weeks and six months. When a person can make it to the six week point when starting to exercise, they are more likely to continue. Those first six weeks are very critical.
After exercisers have made it past the six week mark, many stick with their fitness routine until six months, at which point they often become bored or lose motivation. During these two crucial times it’s essential that employees have motivation to continue. One way to celebrate participants’ successes is to recognize their achievements through incentives.
Incentives like a celebration banquet, certificate of achievement for making it past six weeks or six months and even cash incentives, work well to improve morale and increase participation. Employee health promotion programs that stay involved by checking in on participants, encouraging and rewarding them, often see better results.
If your organization is struggling to elevate participation in the staff member health promotion program, take a good look at how involved the corporation is in the process. Offering start-up materials and continued support will get more individuals on board and keep workers focused on fitness.

Corporate health promotion is one of the most critical investments which a business can make. Corporations which begin health promotion programs are not merely investing in the physical health and wellness, safety, and psychological health of the workers, but they are furthermore taking precautionary steps by developing a much healthier atmosphere.

It’s very important that organizations not only supply employee wellness options for their workforce, but that they also maintain ongoing understanding of safety and wellness techniques. It’s often helpful for a organization to talk with doctors who take part in medical Continuing Medical Education to ensure that they are current with how they may assist their workforce in maintaining wellness.

5 Compelling Reasons to Choose a Wellness Opportunity
I actually have two separate online businesses -
1. Selling wellness products and
2. Selling digital information products (eBooks)
Because I can look at things from both perspectives, I often tend to compare the two businesses from the point of view of the “better” opportunity.
But if I were asked to recommend a single business as the best way to make a living online, the Wellness Business would win hands down.
And no, I didn’t choose it because its easy. On the contrary, selling health supplements, vitamins and related products online is NOT easy.
Not only is there tremendous competition, but it simply can’t be done by working two hours a day, as is the common perception.
If you sell wellness products, you have to deal with REAL people. People with human needs and problems.
You must be available in person, or by phone, or at least by email, to clarify doubts, answer queries, be prompt and sensitive to your customers’ needs and generally make your customer feel good about doing business with you.
You must also provide constant support, training and leadership to a growing organisation of distributors, and help them grow their business.
This can be extremely time-consuming because few of these tasks lend themselves to complete automation.
A seller of digital products has it somewhat easier. (S)He need not even interact with customers, because everything from product delivery to answering customer queries can run on autopilot.
Digital product sellers can (and often are) literally sitting on a beach while their websites churn out profits.
Given these disadvantages, why would anyone still choose the Wellness industry?
The reason I believe is because ANYONE, regardless of their talent or creativity, can actually make a steady LIVING for a lifetime in the Wellness industry.
And of course, there are a few who even go on to become millionaires.
Here are the reasons why I think Health and Wellness should be the #1 Choice for Entrepreneurs online.
1. Health Products Fulfill a Basic Human Need
Health is a #1 concern for many people – often more important than even sex (also a top seller online) or food.
The lack of health can make you feel… well… lousy. And most people will pay their bottom dollar if they can find something that alleviates their pain or discomfort.
To put it more plainly, NOT buying an eBook will not make much difference to your state of mind or body. But not taking your prescription medication can make you feel very bad indeed.
2. Health Products are Consumable
Unlike digital products that can only be sold ONCE to a customer, vitamins, supplements and prescriptions require monthly re-orders or autoships.
Once people start using them and benefiting, more often than not, they will continue to use them.
If you treat your customers right, they will buy from you month after month, providing you with regular commissions and a more or less stable source of income.
There’s usually no need to keep selling to them again and again (barring the obligatory seasonal promotions).
If the products meet their requirements and you give them a good deal and great service, they will give you repeat business for a long time to come.
3. Your Income Grows Exponentially
When selling a digital product (as an owner or an affiliate), your potential for future income actually DECREASES with every sale you make.
Unless you are among the few top marketers who can churn out a new product every month, or can earn more on back-end commissions, your potential for income will always be limited by your creativity.
In contrast, because most wellness opportunities also involve building an organisation, every product sale actually INCREASES your potential for future income, by growing your organisation of customers and potential distributors purchasing every month.
If you help your downline earn a regular income, few will quit the business they have built so earnestly. Again YOU benefit from the RESIDUAL commissions that the organisation provides.
4. Wellness Opportunities have a High Feel-Good Factor
One of the main reasons that I suspect people stick around in the wellness industry is the feel-good factor. It can really make your day when someone calls or writes, telling you how wonderful your products made them feel. Or how it gave them their life back.
Even more than making money, the feeling that you have helped another person feel better is always a strong motivator in working your business.
I’ve no doubt it feels good when someone who purchased your eBook writes to tell you how it helped them succeed. But I can bet it comes nowhere near the feeling you get when you help someone beat a life-threatening illness or conquer their pain.
5. The Need for Wellness Only Increases with Age
As we grow older, we want to work less and enjoy life more. We also want to live healthier lives and enjoy enhanced community interaction.
Wellness opportunities are ideally suited to seniors because they have the potential to fulfill all their needs, ranging from financial security to improved health and personal interaction.
Lastly, working a wellness opportunity empowers you to take steps to improve your own health and well-being.
And do I even need to reiterate the oft-repeated quote that it will be the next Trillion Dollar Industry?

The Unspoken Truth About Vegetable Oil Health Risks
The diets of most North Americans and Europeans have dramatically changed over the last thirty years. Refined vegetable oil, specifically soybean oil, is now being used in most snack foods, breads, sweets, and processed foods to such an extent approximately 20% of the total caloric intake is estimated to come from this source alone.
Why is this so dangerous for our health?
Refined vegetable oil, like soybean oil, is an omega 6 fatty acid. Our body needs fats to survive, but many nutritional experts believe that to achieve optimal health humans need to balance their fat intake between omega 6 fatty acids, derived from seeds and nuts, and omega 3 fatty acids, primarily found in the fat of cold water fish such as salmon, sardines, herring, and mackerel. Today instead of a 1:1 balanced intake of omega 6 and omega 3 fatty acids, most western diets consume between a 10:1 to a 50:1 ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 fatty acids. Changing that ratio is the best thing we can do to change the future of our health today.
Increased omega 6 intake can be attributed to obesity, depression, hyperactivity, and possibly even violence. Omega 6 fatty acids increase inflammation at the cellular level, which may explain the rise in hypertension, heart disease, certain types of cancers, asthma, and cognitive degenerative diseases. Omega 3 fatty acids on the other hand are precursors for anti-inflammation agents and help counterbalance the negative effects from the high levels of omega 6 fats we consume every day in our diets.
Omega 3 is a type of essential fatty acids and our bodies do make them on our own. We have to obtain the necessary amounts from our diets. However, since the chief source of omega 3 fatty acids is cold water fish, the average person would need to consume approximately four pounds of fresh fish per day to receive the same health benefits from two grams of a superior omega 3 fish oil supplement.
Simple changes to our diets to reduce our omega 6 fatty acid intake may be difficult due to the wide ranging use of soybean oils in processed foods. The best bet to reduce your omega 6 fatty acid intake is to avoid processed foods in favor of freshly prepared meals. Increase your fish intake and start taking a superior omega 3 fish oil supplement to help balance your bodies need for essential fatty acids.
